Phase II starts Filming in Seattle August 11th

We are pleased to announce that Phase II of Theater Amigo will start filming soon in Seattle. We will film in Portland and Los Angeles. Phase II is the visit of 11 of the people we worked with on our journey to Latin America. We received additional funding to bring this group back and will now included that in the documentary. Of course this has put our expenses up and we are still seeking investments from friends if you would care to invest now.

It's a wrap on phase I

Phase one of Theater Amigo Film is finishing with location shots in Managua today. Phase II begins August 10th. We will have 10 participants fly to the US for training and cultural exchange in Seattle, Portland, Ashland and Los Angeles. We still need our friends and business relations to invest, so please become involved now!!

Phase II of the project has been funded by the US Department of State and that means the filming will continue, so we continue to need your investments. In Phase II two students from each country will come to Seattle, Portland and LA to continue theater training.

Phase III, yet unfunded will be a return to these four countries and revisiting some of the people we encountered.

Now Filming in Caracas

We are in the second part of our filming and adventure. We can still use the support of our friends so please read down click the link and support this film. Phase II of the grant has been funded which means our documentary will now film actors we have worked with coming to the US. This exciting project is unique in it's scope. The educational film that will be the result of our work is something in which we can have pride.

Filming has begun in Bolivia

Filming has begun here in La Paz and El Alto, Bolivia. Sunday night with the arrival of the theater artists in La Paz, meetings on Tuesday and a performance at Teatro Trono today as well as the first workshop. We are very excited and hope you are too.
